The 2007/2008. school year is the OLIMPIC YEAR during which Olimpic sports games of the school youth of Serbia will be held in Niš in May 2008. A new competition calednar has been adopted in the coordinator meeting held in Sečanj, in June. The 2007/2008. school year will have two parallel competitions:

1. school, district, county and cross county competitions will give regional champions which will participate in the Olimpic sport games in Niš in all disciplines and

2. school, district, county, cross county and republic competitions in handball and voleyball for the students of the 1st and 2nd grade (students born in '91 and '92), which will yield republich champions which will participate in the World School Championship.

In December the republic competitions in handball and volleyball were concluded for the I and II year secondary school students. The winners from these competitions will qualify for the world championship. More on this...
